PERT FOUNDRY

The origin of the PERT Foundry can be traced back to the foundry division of Guangko Iron Works, Inc. (GIW, Inc.) a firm established in 1946 that produced corn milling equipment. In the early 2000s, the foundry equipment of GIW was transferred to the PERT Facility. The foundry eventually found its expertise in the casting of pump impellers. These locally produced pump impellers have helped local industries secure low-cost impellers that were equivalent in quality to the origin (OEM) imported impellers.

The PERT Foundry specializes in intricate castings like pump and impellers, both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, of any design and configuration.

By developing the technology of producing pump impellers, PERT Foundry has contributed to goverment efforts on foreign currency savings while providing local employment.

Some of PERT Foundry and Fabrication's major customers are Carmen Copper Corporation, Philsaga Mining, Metro Cebu Water District, EDC (Energy Development Corporation) and PASAR (Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining Corporation).
